Bio:

Bertil Vorre is a Danish director based in Berlin. He is drawn to the odd and slightly offbeat, often finding inspiration in small details that shift how we see everyday life.

After graduating from film school in 2020, he began working internationally across commercials and music videos, and has since worked with brands such as LEGO, Coca-Cola and Pokémon, among others. He directs both live action and animation, with extensive experience in blending the two and playing with technology.

His work is rooted in narrative and storytelling, with a strong focus on character. Moving across genres, he often combines the relatable with touches of humour and the absurd, grounded in human behaviour and performance.

Alongside his commercial work, he is developing long-form narrative projects that explore intimacy, isolation, and human connection in the age of technology. He is currently finishing the hybrid film The Otter, which explores a virtual relationship unfolding between an online VR game and reality.
